Celina Bernal worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the University of Mar del Plata, Argentina, from 1981 to 1988 and in 1994, as a Materials Science Doctor at the University of Mar del Plata, Argentina. She was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Mar del Plata from 1988 to 2000 and an Assistant Professor from 2000 to 2007. Presently, she is an Assistant Professor at the University of Buenos Aires. Moreover, Bernal is an Independent Researcher at the National Research Council. Her areas of research include mechanical properties, fracture mechanics, polymers, and composite materials. She gave more than 70 participations in national and international conferences.
