Emad El Din Abd El Aal

Emad El Din Abd El Aal serves as a Professor of chemistry and Laboratory Director at Faculty of Science, Zagazig University, Egypt. He graduated from the Faculty of Science, Zagazig University, gaining a B.S. degree in 1979 (special chemistry, with honor), an M.S. degree in 1983, and a Ph.D. degree in 1985 in chemistry. He worked as a Guest Scientist in Materials Science & Technology Division, Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico, USA, and as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, USA. He has about 55 published research papers in the fields of chemistry. He supervised several M.S. and Ph.D. students at the Faculty of Science, Zagazig University. He is also a Reviewer of several international journals and also a Member in several international societies. According to his research, he has received the following awards and honors from UK and Egypt: Award of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Ammar from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology of Egypt (1993); Award for Excellence from Literati Club of England (1995); Highly Commended Award from Literati Club of England (2002); The Egyptian State Encouragement Prize in Chemistry Science from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology of Egypt (2003). Among the top 25 hottest articles published in materials science field from July to September 2009, from January to March 2010, and from October to December 2010, his papers were selected.
