Mohammed Nouari

Lorrraine University, France

Mohammed Nouari received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Metz, Metz, France, in December 2000 and in September 2007, Nouari joined the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines at Nancy, France, as Full Professor with many responsibilities such as Director of research of the InSIC Institute, and Research Group Leader of the ERMeP Team (Equipe de Recherche en Mécanique et Plasturgie). The latter consists of about 25 researchers: 2 full professors, 9 assistant professors, 4 engineers, and 10 Ph.D. students. His research interests include 1- development of behavior laws of materials under extreme contact loading (large deformation, high pressure, and strain rate); 2- modeling and numerical simulations of manufacturing processes as machining and metal forming; 3- numerical techniques (FEA, DEM, and SPH) applied to the analysis heterogeneous materials; 4- damage evolution and failure of nanostructures under a wide range of temperatures and loading rates.
