Huseyin Gencay Keceli

Huseyin Gencay Keceli was born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1979 and is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dentistry, Kirikkale University, Kirikkale, Turkey. In 2001, he received the D.D.S. degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. In 2007, he obtained the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Health Sciences, Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey, with the thesis title “use of platelet gel with connective tissue grafts for root coverage: a randomized controlled trial.” Keceli is a Member of the Turkish Society of Periodontology. He was granted the Certificate of Animal Use in Experimental Research from Gulhane Military Medical Academy and Kirikkale University in 2011. In addition, Keceli took courses in western blot, basic cell culture techniques, and real-time PCR from the Science and Technology Research Laboratories, Kirikkale University, Kirikkale, Turkey. His research interests include periodontal regeneration, dental implants, and mucogingival surgery.
