Marcelo H. Napimoga

Napimoga received a D.D.S. degree from the University of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, in 2001, and a Ph.D. degree in immunology from the State University of Campinas, Brazil, and Forsyth Institute, USA, in 2005. He was a postdoctoral trainee in immunopharmacology at the State University of São Paulo, Brazil (2006). Moreover, he was Professor of immunology at University of Uberaba, Brazil, from 2006 to 2010 and currently he is Professor of immunology at São Leopoldo Mandic Institute and Research Center. In the laboratory coordinated by him, he was focusing on investigate the effect of PPAR-gamma agonists such as 15d-PGJ2 on the inflammatory processes, as well as the use of nanoparticles as a drug delivery for 15d-PGJ2.
