Raymond L. Heilman
Raymond L. Heilman works as an Associate Professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, Minn, USA. Dr. Heilman is the Chair of the Division of Nephrology at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona and the Medical Director of the Kidney Transplant Program. Dr. Heilman received his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, Ill, USA. He did his Nephrology Fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn, USA. He joined the staff of the Mayo Clinic in November 1987. His research interests include steroid-free immunosuppression in kidney and pancreas transplantation, outcomes of acute rejection in kidney transplant recipients, the progression of fibrosis (IFTA) in kidney allografts, and identifying biomarkers of kidney transplant outcomes.
