Hongli Xu received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in computer software and theory from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. He is a Postdoc at the School of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Science and Technology of China. Xu has published more than 40 papers in refereed journals and international conference proceedings. He served and is serving at various international conferences. His research interests include cooperative communication, wireless sensor networks, internet of things, pervasive networks, and mobile computing systems. He is a Member of some learned societies, including IEEE Communications Society, and ACM. He won the Excellent Paper Award in PDCAT05 and Best Paper Award in CWSN07. Moreover, Xu has received many funded research grants, such as the National Science Fund of China.
