Hideaki Wakamatsu

Hideaki Wakamatsu was born in Sapporo, Japan in 1969. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1999 under the direction of Prof. M. Mori at the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hokkaido University. He worked with Professor S. Yamada at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (1999–2000), Professor S. Blechert at Technische Universität Berlin (2000–2001) and Professor A. Abiko at Kyoto Institute of Technology (2001–2003) as postdoctoral fellowship. Since 2003, he is working at the Tohoku Pharmaceutical University (Sendai, Japan) as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include the chemistry of olefin metathesis and the reaction of carbon-carbon multiple bonds with organometallic complex as well as organic chemistry and organometallic chemistry.
