Since 2001, He joined the Neurosurgery Department at Hadassah and founded the Endovascular Neurosurgery Center for the treatment of stroke. On 2005, he was appointed Professor of Medicine at Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Professor Cohen's main research interests include the following: 1. Endovascular therapies for cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and dural fistulas 2. New therapies for carotid artery pathology. Stent angioplasty of intracranial and cervical stenosis. Supra-aortic trunks lesions and endovascular treatment. 3. Surgery of cerebral hemorrhages and stroke 4. Surgery of cerebral trauma and tumors 5. Spine diseases and new minimally invasive techniques for pain 6. New technologies in the management of intracranial and spine lesions. He regularly participates in international congresses and courses and is active reviewer of leading medical journals
