David Vlahov
David Vlahov, Ph.D., serves as the Director of the Center for Urban Epidemiologic Studies at the New York Academy of Medicine, as a Professor of clinical epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, and as an Adjunct Professor of epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He has expertise in epidemiology, infectious diseases, substance abuse, and mental health. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Urban Health, and he has edited two books on urban health and published over 560 scholarly papers.
