Zhimin Liu

Zhimin Liu was born in 1968. She received the Ph. D degree in organic chemical engineering from China University of Petroleum in 1997. Following the doctoral studies, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow with Professor Buxing Han at ICCAS. In 1999, she joined the Faculty of ICCAS as an Associate Professor of chemistry. She worked as a Visiting Scholar in Nottingham University (UK) and Tohoku University (Japan) in 2003 and 2006, respectively. She was promoted as a Full Professor and a Group Leader in January, 2007. She is currently working on the study of the physicochemical properties and applications of green solvents (including supercritical fluids, and ionic liquids), with an emphasis on fabrication of functional materials using green solvents. Up to date, she has published 180 papers in international journals.
