Laura Pigani
0000-0003-2658-2371Laura Pigani in 1998 graduated cum laude in chemistry from University of Modena in with a thesis entitled “Iron chelating agents of biological interest.” In 2002, she completed her Ph.D. studies in chemistry at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with a thesis entitled “Multitechnique characterisation of polythiophene conducting polymers on the electrode surface” under the supervision of professor Renato Seeber. Since December 2001, she has been working as a Researcher of analytical chemistry (Electroanalysis Group) at the Department of Chemistry, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Her research work covers different aspects of electroanalysis and, in particular, synthesis and characterization of new modified electrodes by conducting polymers; applications of modified electrodes as amperometric sensors for analysis of specific analytes; development of amperometric sensors for blind analysis.
