Zeki Ayag

Zeki Ayag received his B.S, M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1989, 1991, and 2003, respectively. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of Kadir Has University. He is also the Chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering, a Board Member of the Faculty of Engineering, and an Assistant Manager of the Institute of Science and Technology at the same university. In addition to his academic experience, he has national and international industrial experience, such as CAD Engineer at Magna International Inc., Cam-Slide Mfg. (Canada), and an Engineering Designer at Mold-Masters Ltd. (Canada). His research interests include MCDM, CIM, CAD/CAM, AHP/ANP, fuzzy logic, simulation of manufacturing systems, and NPD. He has published many articles in periodical journals indexed by SCI and SCI-Expanded, such as International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, IIE Transactions, Journal of Engineering Design, and Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems. He is also an active Referee for journals, such as the International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Computer & Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Approximate Reasoning, Information Sciences, Asia Pacific Management Review, Journal of Engineering Design, and for conferences, such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2005). He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) from both PEO in Canada and the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers of Turkey (TMMOB). He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE). Moreover, he is a Member of the International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), Society for Modeling and Simulation International (SCS), Society of Operations Research, Turkey, and so on. He is also listed in various editions of Who is Who in Engineering in the World and Leading Engineers of the World. He is also an Associate Editor of the Advances in Fuzzy Systems and Journal of Intelligent Mfg. and an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Production Research.
