Devinder k. Dhawan

Devinder K. Dhawan received his M.S. degree (with honor) in biophysics from the Panjab University and Ph.D. degree from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. He has also obtained Postgraduate Diploma in medical radioisotopes techniques from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, India. Dhawan is presently working as a Professor at the Department of Biophysics and also acting as a Coordinator of Centre for Nuclear Medicine as well as Centre for Medical Physics at the Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. His research areas are neurodegeneration, cancer, radiopharmaceuticals, and toxicology. He has published more than 140 research articles mostly in international journals during 30 years of his research career. Dhawan has supervised 20 Ph.D. degree and 32 M.S. degree students. He is a Fellow of the Indian College of Nuclear Medicine and Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists.
