Jean-Bernard Dubois received his D. en M. degree from the Faculté de Médecine de Montpellier, Montpellier, France, in 1947. He was a Professor of the Universités de Cancérologie-Radiothérapie in 1980, the Chef of the Department of Radiotherapy at CRLC de Montpellier in 1989, the General Director of the CRLC de Montpellier in 1997, and a Professor of the Universités Classe Exceptionnelle de Cancérologie-Radiothérapie in 2010. He has published extensively, and his publications include 346 published papers, 137 out of them at international level, 76 books and contributions to books, 29 out of them at international level, scientific writing and edition of 6 educational and scientific books, and 416 oral communications, 265 out of them at international level. Moreover, he gave lectures by invitation in France and in foreign countries including USA, China, Japan, Spain, Italy, Poland, Romania, Luxembourg, Brazil, Lebanon, Russia, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Australia, Mexico, and Bolivia. His research interests include radiation therapy and immune response, optimization of biologic effects of radiotherapy by physical agents (microwaves) or chemical or biologic sensitizers, and technological development of intraoperative radiation therapy, of multileaves collimators, and of intensity modulation radiation therapy. His clinical research includes digestive, urologic, gynecologic, and mammary tumors.
