Hui Wang

Hui Wang received a B.S. degree in Physics and an M.S. degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Nanjing University and a Ph.D. degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From 1997 to 1999 he was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Arizona. He then worked at Georgia Tech as a research scientist II (2000-03) and a senior research scientist (2003-06). Hui Wang joined Wyle and NOAA Climate Prediction Center in 2007. His principal research interests are climate variability, air-sea interaction, Atlantic hurricane season prediction, ENSO, predictability of precipitation and droughts, South American monsoon, tropical waves, and weather-climate linkage.
