Davut Avci

Davut Avci in 2009 graduated first (with Ph.D. degree) in natural sciences from the University of Sakarya. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics at the University of Sakarya. His current research specialties include analyzing the molecular structure, spectroscopic (IR, Raman, UV, and NMR), and nonlinear optical properties of molecules using computational methods: ab-initio Hartree-Fock and Density Functional Theory (DFT) methods, and semiempirical methods. There are more than 30 scientific publications in science citation index about these particular topics. Furthermore, he has participated in many of research activities including attending national and international conferences. His work is presented as an oral/poster presentations.
