Francesco Perticone
Francesco Perticone works as a Full Professor of internal medicine and as the Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Unit, School of Medicine, University of Catanzaro, Italy. He has received his Ph.D. degree in medicine from the University of Naples in 1975. He has completed postgraduates studies at the University of Naples from 1976 to 1978. He became a Specialist in cardiology and cardiovascular disease at the University of Naples in 1978. He obtained a Postdoctoral Fellowship of the National Researches Council at the University of Naples from 1978 to 1982. He serves as the Director of Geriatrics Postgraduate School at the University of Catanzaro. he holds Memberships of different national medical and scientific societies concerned with internal medicine, cardiology, cardiovascular prevention, echocardiography, and geriatrics.
