Lotfi Monser obtained the Habilitation degree in analytical and environmental chemistry, University of Al-Manar, Tunis, 2004 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in analytical chemistry (modified porous graphitic carbon for liquid chromatography), Department of Chemistry, University of Hull, Hull, UK, 1993–1996. Monser is a Professor in analytical chemistry and a Member of the Scientific Committee of INSAT. Monser is a Technical Expert with the Tunisian Accreditation Council (TUNAC). Monser's areas of expertise are liquid and gas chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, optimisation and validation of analytical methods, stability indicating methods, molecular imprinted polymer for column chromatography and for solid phase extraction, water analysis and treatment.
