Eija Paavilainen

Eija Paavilainen, PhD, Professor at School of Health Sciences (Nursing Science), Research Collegium, University of Tampere, Finland. Her main research interests include families in different perspectives: e.g. families with children, families as clients in health care and families in challenging life situations. Since 1994, her largest research projects have concerned family violence: child maltreatment, identifying and intervening in family violence, family risks, from the intervention and outcome research perspective.
