Issam El Naqa

Issam El Naqa received his B.S. (1996) and M.S. (1995) in electrical and communication engineering from the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, Ph.D. (2002) in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, Ill, USA, and M.A. (2007) in biology from Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, Mo, USA. El Naqa served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Radiation Oncology, School of Medicine, Washington University. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in medical physics at the Department of Oncology, McGill University. El Naqa is a member of IEEE, AAPM, and ASTRO. His current research interests include bioinformatics, machine learning, medical imaging, proteomics, genomics, and cancer treatment outcomes.
