Elias A. Said

Elias A. Said serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Alkhoudh, Oman. He has obtained his Ph.D. degree in microbiology from Paris Diderot University and Pasteur Institute, Paris, France, in 2004. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Associate at Université de Montréal, Montréal, QC, Canada until 2011. Dr. Said's research projects are targeting pathogenesis of viral infections, the modulation of the immune response and innate immune responses during viral infections (especially HIV, HCV, and HCV/HIV coinfection) and the innate immune response to tumors.
