Dragutin L. J. Debeljkovic

Dragutin L. J. Debeljkovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, on 30 December 1950. He received three degrees from the University of Belgrade: a B.S. degree in thermoenergetic engineering and an M.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree, both in control and system science engineering. From 1980 to 1989, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Control Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. He became an Associate Professor in 1990 and a Professor in 1994 at the same school. By the end of 2002, he was elected as a Member of Serbian Scientific Society. He published two chapters in an international monograph, 3 national scientific monographs, 27 national monographs, 12 papers in leading international journals (SCI list), 38 papers in international journals, 106 papers published in proceedings and presented at the international meetings, conferences, and symposiums, 96 papers published in leading national journals, 82 papers published in proceedings and presented at the national meetings, conferences, and symposiums, 15 textbooks, and 4 handbooks as a collection of manual solutions and solved problems. Other areas of occupation are concerned with Lyapunov and non-Lyapunov stability of singular systems, time delay systems, and singular time delay systems. The total number of citations of Professor Debeljkovic papers is 81 (Scopus). His joint paper with Professor Owens is the most frequently mentioned. Professor Debeljkovic served as the Reviewer of respectable journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Automatica, System and Control Letters, IEE Proceedings, International Journal of System Science, Journal of Stochastic Analysis and Applications, AMSE Journal, and IFAC World Congress 2008. He was a Supervisor of more than 390 (B.S. degree) diploma works, about 45 M.S. theses, and 14 Ph.D. dissertations.
