Shigeharu Uchiyama

Shigeharu Uchiyama graduated from Gunma University School of Medicine in 1985. From 1992 to 1994, he served as a Research Fellow at the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. Since 2008, he served as an Associate professor at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Shinshu University School of Medicine. His fields of interest are hand surgery, peripheral nerve surgery and disorders, and biomechanics of the upper extremities osteoporosis.
