Jorma Virtanen

Jorma Virtanen works currently as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Helsinki and at the Eastern University of Finland. He holds the D.D.S. and Ph.D. degrees in dentistry, M.S. degree in public health (Gothenburg, Sweden), and has specialized in health care. He has acted as a Leader of several research projects and as a Supervisor of PG studies. His main research interests are in the field of public health. He has published in several international scientific journals on preventive dentistry, epidemiology and biostatistics, pediatric dentistry, dental education, ICT, and health service research.
