Salvador G. Garcia
Salvador G. Garcia was born in 1966, Spain. He received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees (with extraordinary award) in physics from the University of Granada, Granada, Spain, in 1989 and 1994, respectively. In 1999, he joined the Department of Electromagnetism and Matter Physics, University of Granada, as an Assistant Professor (with tenure) where he is currently appointed for Full Professorship. He has published over 50 refereed journal articles and book chapters, and over 80 conference papers and technical reports, and participated in several national and international projects with public and private funding. He has received grants to stay as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Duisburg (1997), the Institute of Mobile and Satellite Communication Techniques (1998), the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2001), and the University of Kentucky (2005). His current research interests include computational electromagnetics, electromagnetic compatibility, terahertz technologies, microwave imaging and sensing (GPR), bioelectromagnetics, and antenna design.
