Hawa Keïta-Meyer

Hawa Keïta-Meyer was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1964. She is actually Professor in anesthesiology and intensive care and Head of the Anesthesiology Department of Louis Mourier Hospital, University of Paris VII, Paris, France. She has an M.S. degree in neurosciences (University of Paris VI-XI), a Ph.D. degree in neurosciences (University Paris VI), and a Board Certification in medical pedagogy (University Paris VII). She is Member of Société Française d’Anesthésie et de Réanimation and of the scientific committee. Keïta is mainly interested in postoperative pain research and management and in obstetric anaesthesia and intensive care. She is a Regular Reviewer for several international and national medical journals: Acta Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica, European Journal of Pain, Journal of Pain, Minerva Anesthesiologica, Current Womens' Health Review, and Annales Françaises d’Anesthési-Réanimation.
