Kourosh Kalantar-Zadeh is a Professor at RMIT University, Australia. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in 1993 and 1997, from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and Tehran University, Tehran, Iran, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from RMIT University, Australia, in 2001. His research interests include chemical and biochemical sensors, nanotechnology, microsystems, materials sciences, electronic circuits, and microfluidics. Kourosh has significant publications in the fields of semiconducting metal oxide-based sensors, anodization, conductive polymers, two-dimensional materials (graphene, MoS2, MoO3, and WO3), the manipulations of particles in microfluidics and Raman-microfluidics systems. He is the the author of over 250 scientific manuscripts and textbooks.
