Xiang Wu

Dr. Xiang Wu received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Liaoning Technical University in 2000 and received his Master and PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Shenyang University of Technology and Harbin Institute of Technology in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He ever worked as a visiting scientist in National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan (supervised by Prof. Yoshio Bando) and National Taiwan University, Taiwan (supervised by Prof. Jrhau He) and as a postdoctor in Harbin Engineering University (supervised by Prof. Yufeng Zheng) and Shandong University (supervised by Prof. Jinhua Zhan). He is presently an associate professor of chemistry of materials in Harbin Normal University, China. He was elected one of 60 top-notch personnel in Harbin Normal University in 2011. His research interests focus on synthesis, characterization of low dimensional semiconductor materials and their applications in environment and energy field. He has authored and co-authored over 70 peer reviewed journal articles such as Adv. Mater., J. Mater. Chem. A, J. Phys. Chem. C, CrystEngComm and Dalton Trans. and held 2 Chinese patents.
