Xiang Wu received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Liaoning Technical University, Liaoning, China, in 2000, and received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in materials science and engineering from Shenyang University of Technology, Liaoning, China, and Harbin Institute of Technology, Heilongjiang, China, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He is presently an Associate Professor of chemistry of materials in Harbin Normal University, China. His research interests focus on synthesis, characterization of low dimensional semiconductor materials and their applications in environment, and energy field. He has authored and coauthored over 70 peer reviewed journal articles such as Advanced Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Journal of Physical Chemistry C, CrystEngComm, and Dalton Transactions and held 2 Chinese patents.
