My long career as Medical Physicist started on 1972 at Cà Granda-Niguarda Hospital in Milano (IT). On 1984 I went to Reggio Emilia to found and direct the Medical Physics Dpt. On March 2009 I retired for age limits. On 2010 I become consultant of S. Raffaele Hospital. In the same period I promoted the constitution of the Italian Group of Ultrasound Application in Research and Therapy and I’m organizing, the First AIFM-INRIM Course of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound in Research and Therapeutic Application that will be held in Torino, on 23-24 May 2013 For several years I taught boot at graduate and postgraduate courses in Medical Physics at Milano and Bologna Universities and I’m member of several Scientific Societies, in particular of the American Association of Medical Physics (AAPM) and “Associazione di Fisica Medica” (AIFM). On 2012 I was appointed an Honorary Member of this latter Society. On 2011, I become Teaching Professor of Medical Physics at the University of Milano Bicocca and this is my present position. I’m quite frequently invited, as Presenter or Chair, in National and International Congresses. In my long career, I had been involved in several aspects of Medical Physics, like shielding calculation, Electroradiography, Computerized Tomography, Radiotherapy, Magnetic Resonance, 3D imaging, Image Quality evaluation, Radiotherapy, X-Ray Mammography and Tomosynthesis, Focused Ultrasound. In these fields, I published over 50 papers on International Journals
