Iris Reuter
Iris Reuter holds a Ph.D. degree. She is a Consultant and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Neurology at the University of Giessen, Germany, and runs a Movement Disorder Clinic. She is also the Head of the Soemmerring Institute for behavioural neurology and movement disorders. The task of the institute is research in rehabilitation of movement disorders with the focus on sports therapy. She has been awarded 2 million Euro in research grants and currently has a grant with the Jackstaedt trust. She has published circa 60 articles in academic journals, a is a coauthor of several books on sports medicine, and is a Fellow of the German Society of Sports Medicine and Prevention. She is a Member of the Ethical Committee for psychology and sports sciences and serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Sports Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
