Yoshinori Murakami was born in Kobe, Japan, in 1969. He recieved his Ph.D. degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo in 1997. Since 1997, Murakami has been an Assitant Professor at Nagaoka University of Techonogy. From 2001 to 2002, he was a Guest Researcher at University of Karlsruhe. In 2009, Murakami was an Associate Professor at Nagaoka National College of Technology and, presently, he is an Associate Professor in Hachinohe National College of Technology. He is a member of Chemical Society of Japan, of Photochemical Society of Japan, and also a member of Combustion Society of Japan. His research interests are free radical reactions under the combustion, photocatalysis, and plasma environments. He was awarded the best poster presentation award in 2002 from the Shockwave Society of Japan and encouragement award from the combustion society of Japan in 2009. He has reviewed manuscripts submitted in Journal of Physical Chemistry A,B,C, International Journal of Chemical kinetics, International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, Chemcal Physics Letters, Journal of Computational Chemistry, Powder Technology, and so on.
