Giancarlo Ottaviano is a medical doctor, assistant professor at the Department of Medical and Surgical Specialties Section of Otolaryngology,University of Padova. He is member of the Editorial Board of the International Scholarly Research Network Otolaryngology and of the Italian Society of Otolaryngology and Cranio-facial Surgery. He is also reviewer for international scientific peer-review journals. Doctor in Medicine and Surgery, cum laude in 2001, he graduated in Otolaryngology, cum laude, in 2005 at Padua University. He has been Affiliate Accademic at the Professorial Unit of the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital in London and Clinical Fellow at the Department of Otolaryngology, University of Dresden. He has 20 international peer-review publications in the Otolaryngology field. He is also author of a medical book chapter on nose and paranasal pathology. He has been member of the international faculty of the Synposium “Human Chemosensation 2010” in Dresden, Germany. Doctor Ottaviano has also been awarded with national and international prizes. He is teacher at the Ear Nose and Throat residency school, University of Padua and had done about 1000 surgical head and neck operations as 1th surgeon.
