Vega Pérez-Gracia obtained her Ph.D. degree in 2001 from the Polytechnical University of Catalonia, Spain based on geophysical prospecting and GPR applications in archaeology and cultural heritage, specializing in nondestructive testing. She obtained also a Master degree in earthquake engineering and structural dynamics in 1996. Nowadays, she is teaching in the Engineering School of Barcelona, and also collaborates in the Earthquake Engineering doctorate program, in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. She collaborates in several research projects, more of them referred to geophysical surveys in historical heritage and seismic evaluations. She is author or coauthor of more than 20 papers and 100 communications in conference proceedings.
