Martin Lorenzoni was born in Graz, Austria, in 1961. He received the Medical degree from the University of Graz, Graz, Austria, in 1988, and the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the same university in 1993. He completed an internship in General Surgery at Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Brüder, Graz, Austria, and attended a postgraduate program at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, University Dental Clinic Graz, and another postgraduate program at the Department of Prosthodontics in the same university. He has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Prosthodontics, Medical University Graz, Austria, since 1999. Professor Lorenzoni has been working as Vice Chairman of OGI (Austrian Society of Implantology) since 2007 and as Chairman since 2009. He has more than 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include guided bone regeneration, sinus augmentation, immediate loading, transfer precision, all-ceramic restorations, guided implant rehabilitation, and soft tissue management.
