An Vanden Broeck

An Vanden Broeck was born in Geraardsbergen, Belgium, in 1969. She received the M.S. degree in Applied Biological Science (summa cum laude) from the University of Leuven (KUL) and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Ghent (UG), Belgium, in 1994 and 2004, respectively. Since 1995, Broeck has served as a Scientist at the Research Institute for Nature and Forest (INBO). She is mainly interested in population genetics, forest genetics, forest tree breeding, sexual plant reproduction, hybridization, molecular ecology, and conservation genetics of plant species.
