Mohammad Z. A. Rafiquee
Mohammad Z. A. Rafiquee completed M.S. degree in science with specialization in physical chemistry in 1987. He completed his Ph.D. degree in 1993 on the kinetics. Junior Research Fellowship (1989) was awarded to him by University Grants Commission, New Delhi and then Senior Research Fellowship in 1991. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow (RA), awarded by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, he joined the Department of Applied Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India as an Assistant Professor. In 2003, he was promoted to be an Associate Professor. Moreover, he is currently on leave from Aligarh Muslim University. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor in King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He has 22 years of active and productive career working in the discipline of physical and surfactant chemistry. Besides teaching to the undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students, he has been actively engaged in guiding students for the award of research degrees and doing independent research work. Rafiquee authored 40 research papers and supervised 4 students for the award of Ph.D. degree. His fields of interest are kinetics and mechanism of organic and metal-complex reactions, surfactant chemistry, corrosion, and ion exchange process at the surfactant-modified surfaces. He is the recipient of a Major Research Project from University Grants Commission, New Delhi in 2008. He is life member of many scientific societies.
