Bertrand Lapergue is Neurologist in the Department of Neurology and Stroke Centre at the Foch Hospital, Suresnes, France, and has Ph.D. degree at the Cardiovascular Research Unit of INSERM U698, Bichat Medical School and Denis Diderot University, Paris, France. Lapergue’s principal research interests concern cerebrovascular diseases. He is especially interested in the management of acute ischaemic stroke and in the prevention of secondary stroke. He has worked on rodent cerebral ischemic stroke with several peer-reviewed publications in journal such as Stroke. Lapergue was recently awarded with the Junior Investigator Award in the European Stroke Conference (2010).
