Michio Naito

Michio Naito was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1954. He received the Bachelor and the Ph.D. degree of applied physics from the Univeristy of Tokyo, in 1976 and 1981, respectively. From 1981 to 1985, he was a Research Associate at Department of Applied Physics in the Univeristy of Tokyo. From 1985 to 1987, M. Naito was a visiting Research Associate at Department of Applied Physics in Stanford Univeristy. From 1987 to 2004, he was a senior research scientist and later a group leader in NTT Basic Research Laboratories. Since 2004, he is a Professor of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. He is mainly interested in superconductivity, especially molecular beam epitaxy growth of high-Tc cuprates superconductors, MgB2, Fe pnictides, etc. Biography Updated on 13 June 2011
