Yibing Cai

Jiangnan University, China

Yibing Cai is one of the pioneers and leading scientists in the research field of polymer nanocomposites, electrospinning and nanofibers, and thermal energy storage materials. He is currently an Associate Professor at Key Laboratory of Ecotextiles and College of Textiles and Clothing at Jiangnan University (Wuxi, Jiangsu, China). His highest degree is a Ph.D. degree which he earned in 2007 from the State Key Laboratory of Fire Science at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC, Hefei, Anhui, China). In the recent years, besides teaching numerous undergraduate and/or graduate courses (in both polymer and fibers and textile materials fields) including polymer chemistry, polymer chemistry and physics, fiber chemistry and physics, functional textile materials and novel fibers, surface functionalization of fiber materials, and surface physics and interface science of fibers; he has managed to establish a vigorous research program on electrospun polymeric nanofibers and their applications.
