Steven Jansen

Steven Jansen received his Ph.D. degree in sciences from K U Leuven, Belgium, in May 2001. Currently, he is a Professor in tropical botany. His areas of expertise include comparative plant anatomy: systematic, ecological, and functional aspects of wood and leaf anatomy; functional plant morphology, especially plant water relations; tropical plant diversity and ecology; and aluminium accumulation and heavy metal uptake in plants.
