Andrew Woldar
Andrew Woldar was born in New York City, NY, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1984 under the direction of Ronald Solomon (The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA, finite groups and group representations). He has been on Faculty at Villanova University, Villanova, Pa, USA from 1985 to present (Associate Professor in 1988, Full Professor in 1994). He spent two years as Visiting Scholar at the University of Delaware, Newark, Del, USA (1988–1990) and one year at the Institute for Advanced Study (1993–1994). His main areas of expertise include group theory, graph theory (mostly extremal) and combinatorics (mostly algebraic). He is the author of over 50 research papers.
