Søren Skov

Søren Skov was born in Hørsholm, Denmark in 1969. He graduated as biochemist in 1994 and received his Ph.D. degree in immunology in 1998 from University of Copenhagen in Denmark. From 1998 to 2000, he worked as a Postdoc at Xcyte Therapies in Seattle, Wash, USA in Jeff Ledbetters laboratory. Since 2000, Søren has held different research positions at University of Copenhagen, and he is currently heading his own laboratory as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Life Sciences. His main research interests are cellular and molecular immunology, regulation of T cells and NK cells, cancer immunology, viral escape mechanisms, and nanotechnological immunoassays
