Researcher at National Research Center, Egypt 0000-0002-6522-1053

Nady A. Fathy was born in 1977. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry from the Faculty of Science, Beni‐Suef Branch, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2000. He then received both his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physical chemistry from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University and Ain‐Shams University, Egypt, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. He currently works as a Researcher at the National Research Center, Cairo, Egypt. His research interests are in surface chemistry and catalysis of porous materials, mainly in preparation and characterization of porous and nanocarbon materials with their applications in water treatment using adsorption or catalysis processes. He published numerous papers in the removal of dyes and organic and heavy metals using prepared porous adsorbents such as activated carbons, nanostructured carbon xerogels, modified agricultural by‐products, and clays.
