Monica Milasi

University of Messina, Italy

Monica Milasi graduated (cum laude) and obtained her Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Messina (Messina, Italy), where she serves as a Researcher on mathematical analysis in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Milasi has also worked as a teacher of courses on calculus for the degree in physics and mathematics. She is a Member of research groups PRIN 2008 in addition to various research groups of the University of Messina and the Organizer of the symposium “Variational inequalities and equilibrium problems: existence and duality theory and computation” in the ICNAAM 2009 (Crete, 18-22/9/2009). Actually Milasi deals with the study of variational inequalities and their applications to static and dynamic equilibrium problems, in particular, competitive and Walrasian pure exchange economic problems, sensitivity analysis, and Lagrangean and duality theory. She has been invited to give talks in several international conferences and workshops.
