Andreas Uhl

Andreas Uhl received the B.S. and M.S. degrees
(both in mathematics) from Salzburg
University and he completed his Ph.D. on
applied mathematics at the same university.
He is currently an Associate Professor with
tenure in computer science affiliated with
the Department of Scientific Computing,
and with the Research Institute for Software
Technology, Salzburg University. He is also
a part-time lecturer at the Carinthia Tech
Institute. His research interests include multimedia signal processing
(with emphasis on compression and security issues), parallel
and distributed processing, and number theoretical methods in
numerics.
