Arie Yeredor

Arie Yeredor was born in Haifa, Israel, in
1963. He received the B.S. in electrical engineering
(summa cum laude) and Ph.D. degrees
from Tel Aviv University in 1984 and
1997, respectively. From 1984 to 1990, he
was with the Israeli Defense Forces (Intelligence
Corps), in charge of advanced research
and development activities in the
fields of statistical and array signal processing.
Since 1990, he has been with NICE Systems,
Inc., where he holds a consulting position in the fields of
speech and audio processing, video processing, and emitter location
algorithms. He is currently a faculty member at the Department
of Electrical Engineering-Systems at Tel-Aviv University,
where he teaches courses in statistical and digital signal processing,
and has been awarded the Best Lecturer of the Faculty of Engineering
Award for three consecutive years. His research interests
include estimation theory, statistical signal processing, and blind
source separation.
