Peter König
Peter König studied physics and medicine
at the University of Bonn, Bonn, Germany.
He was with the Department of Neurophysiology
at the Max Planck Institute for Brain
Research, Frankfurt, Germany, where he received
the Habilitation degree in 1990. After
working as a Senior Fellow at the Neurosciences
Institute in San Diego, Calif, he
joined the Institute of Neuroinformatics,
Zürich, Switzerland, in 1997. Here, he is using
experimental and theoretical approaches to study the mammalian
visual system, with a particular interest in the processing
of natural stimuli.
