Michael Lee Branham

Michael Lee Branham is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy, the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla, USA. He was awarded an NRC research fellowship with Dr. Laurie Locascio in laboratory automation and in kinetic modeling at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, Md, USA, and was a Postdoctoral Researcher in biomechanics at the University of Florida. He remained in Florida, as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Mechanics and Engineering Science, to continue his teaching and research interests in cell mechanics and microfluidic modeling. In 2002, Dr. Branham joined MDS Pharma Services as Senior Pharmacokineticist providing PK/PD design and analysis expertise for early clinical research programs. In 2004, Mike joined Takeda Global Research and Development as Clinical Pharmacokineticist, with responsibility for PK/PD study design and analysis for phase 1 clinical trials. He is currently Research Scientist at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa.
