Joaquin Sanchez

Joaquin Sanchez obtained his Ph.D. degree from Bristol University, UK; he subsequently spent several years in Sweden working at the Department of Medical Microbiology in Gothenburg University. He is a Member of the Medical Faculty at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos in Cuernavaca, México. He has experience in aspects of microbial pathogenesis, including regulation of virulence gene expression in Vibrio cholerae, enteropathogenic Escherichia coli, enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, and Helicobacter pylori.
